How to Troubleshooting Synced Workout Data Issues

If your workout syncs but looks wrong (no map, missing heart rate, or wrong time), please check the settings below.

Missing GPS Map / Track

  • Zepp Settings: Go to Home > Profile (top-right) > Settings > Workout Data Storage & Backup > Route Data Storage Permissions and ensure “Allow Storage in the Cloud” or “Allow Temporary Storage in the Cloud" is selected.

Note: If the option above isn’t visible, go to Settings > Personal Information Security & Privacy and uncheck “Store track data locally only.”

  • Indoor Sports: Workouts like "Treadmill" or "Indoor Fitness" do not record GPS tracks, so no map will appear on Strava.
  • Region Limits: Due to local privacy laws, map data cannot be exported in certain regions (e.g., South Korea).

Missing Heart Rate Data

Third-party apps require specific permission to read health data.

  1. For Strava: Open Strava Settings > Data Permissions > Ensure Health-Related Data is allowed.
  2. For Google Fit/Apple Health: Check the system "Health" settings on your phone and ensure Zepp is allowed to write "Heart Rate" data.

Incorrect Time or Timezone

If your activity shows the wrong start time (e.g., 8 hours difference):

  1. Log in to the Strava Website (or the relevant third-party web portal).
  2. Go to Settings > Display Preferences.
  3. Update your Time Zone to your current location.
  4. Delete the incorrect activity and re-upload/re-sync if possible.
